Those bolts are about the size of the HEAD on the center pins on Jeep leaf springs. Stock center pins are 5/16" DIA, many aftermarket springs use bigger/stronger 3/8" pins. Center pin sizes are generally stated by the DIA of the bolt, not the head. well these are what I ordered.I need to move the center pin on my rear leaf springs back about 1.5" and I wondered if I could drill a hole for the new pin without compromising the strength of the spring.
