Lately, however, I've been enjoying pushing my paladin characters a bit farther towards the rogue/assassin side of things, such as a "Dex paladin" in D&D, or DEX/FAI in dark souls. As such I'm looking at playing an Assassin in Dragon's Dogma, since it seems to fit that hybrid niche pretty well.I'd probably pick showdown, enhanced response and swift castle, paired with Dire gouge, Clairvoyance and either Antler toss or Full moon slash for the assassin. Fighter would probably have Burst strike, Antler toss, and Dragon's Maw for sword.
