I purchased a 2012 4WD Pilot Touring and am very disatisfied. At highway speeds, say 60-70mph, the VCM creates a low frequency, resonating vibration. The incessant drone makes highway driving very unpleasant, maddening actually. Dealer has replaced rear and front active engine mounts on two separate visits to no avail.Whatever Honda does, you need to set up your drive train for the best possible lifespan. Add an auxiliary ATF cooler, and disable the VCM system. I use S-VCM to turn off the Honda VCM system. Works for me. I would recommend that you also stay on top of the transmission fluid service.
