I have a miller 175 that was purchased new in 2002. Not too long ago, I let a friend use it and he stuck to tip to the metal he was welding and for some reason didn't let off the trigger. Finally when he did and the tip was melted, the wire speed was stuck at a very high speed.The flying sparks, hot workpiece, and hot equipment can cause fires and burns.
