a while back there was a discussion re: putting a 7.625" dodge input shaft into an early (93-94) gm nv4500 with the 6.625" input and lower gear ratio. in addition to machining the dodge bearing retainer down to fit the case, the 4th gear countershaft gear had to be swapped to mesh with the new input shaft gear.All our nv4500 13" conversion kits come standard with 1.25" hub, we can supply the 1.375" as well.
