This trans has a bellhousing that mounts to the 22R (E) (T) series engines and a tailhousing that mounts to the RF1A gear-driven transfer cases commonly found in the 1979 - 1995 Pickups.DCM. 5242 posts · Joined 2005. #2 · Sep 12, 2006. As far as I know, up to '83 4x4 used the "L" series, '84 & '85 used the "G" series, and newer than that uses the "W" series, with an "R" series being used for the turbo trucks and the V6 trucks which have R151F and R150F, respectively (these are all manual gearboxes).For sale is a 2012 R150F 5 speed transmission and transfer case. Came out of a 2022 Prado with 5LE. Has the electronics on it (see pics). This only has 40km on it. You'll need a bellhousing as I needed the bellhousing to mate a different tranny on my 5LE engine. $1500.00The R150F and R151F are the stronger manual transmissions of the Toyota Hilux. I have have had problems with my gearbox and after a bit of looking around found out that the g52 gearbox's aren't the best gearbox's when turbocharged and that a common swap is a r series gearbox out of a surf.I already own an R150F but it has an RF1A which is in the wrong side of where the front differential is. I also already own a G52 with the VF1A which is in the correct side of where the front differential is (Under the front passenger). Do you know if perhaps the gearbox/tailhousing would fit in R150F? TLCA#15307.Re: 2UZFE to R150F swap. I think the biggest problem you will have is the size of the 2UZ in a small 95 4runner. Will have to do a lot of questionable things to get it to fit lengthwise.
