Picked up an R150F trans and removed the tailshaft housing. Swapped the R151F tailshaft housing and output shaft collar on and the Marlin Crawler bellhousing. The gear oil that came out of the R151F was black and nasty. The gear oil in the cases was nice and green.I have a 97 4runner with the V6 engine and a Manual transmission. From my research I have an R150f. So I picked up a used R150F and was in the process of swapping it out. Everything was fine until I went to match the transfer case onto the new to me transmission.
