W58 is definitely smaller. You cannot just swap tail shaft housings between the R154 and the R150 trannies. The outputs of the trannies are extremely different. Swapped the R151F tailshaft housing and output shaft collar on and the Marlin Crawler bellhousing. The gear oil that came out of the R151F was black and nasty. The way I understand it, they are essentially the same tranny inside, the R15F just has slightly different ratios, a much lower 1st gear, which is why they are so desirable.
