If it is an input or output seal leaking, you unbolt the drive shaft going into the case, remove the nut that holds the u-joint flange on, pry the old seal out and tap the new seal in (be careful not to tap too hard or the seal will bend) Mar 23, 2009 ...Rear Seal on my transfer case blew out spewing fluid all over the exhaust.
